Hope of New Life in Colombia

 VOCATION PROMOTION

In order to talk about new life in the Province of Colombia we have to recall the process that we undertook with each of the sisters. For a long time, the sisters have been preoccupied by the number of young women who were following the vocational process, or more so, by how many young women the Sister assigned to Vocation Promotion by the Provincial Council claimed she had? Because of that, it became necessary that every sister be made aware that each and everyone of us is called to be promoters of vocation, starting from our very own vocation, in order to reach out to others following the example of our founders Montfort and Marie-Louise.

Time has taught us that vocation promotion opens us to others in order to reach out to other women who wish to love Jesus Wisdom passionately.  Thus, today, in Colombia, young women have started an accompaniment process. This allows us to envision a promising future, and to dream that there will be continuity in the legacy that we have received from our founders. This is confirmed by the testimony of the young women who are in the formation process and in accompaniment.
