First Meeting of the Younger Daughters of Wisdom of Europe

“Let us seek Wisdom, let us seek her always without stopping”.
St. Louis Marie prayed thus

First Meeting of the Younger Daughters of Wisdom of Europe

Our first European encounter was a wonderful way of strengthening our sense of belonging to the Congregation at this time where we are all invited to “widen the space of our tent”. Turin was our meeting place for us with the Italian Sisters.

During the 4 days together, we opened our hearts to Wisdom who loves to enter into a relationship with us. We bonded together to live and witness to the Wisdom of God who consecrated us and is calling us to happiness.

We shared our respective ministries and the way we live our Wisdom Spirituality that St. Louis Marie and Blessed Marie Louise lived in their time as it transformed their lives. More than 300 years later, it inspires us, revitalizes us and gives us creativity towards people who suffer, “Those whom the world neglects, those who are alienated from the Church.” (RL 7)

“If you don’t take risks for God, you won’t do anything great for Him.”
“The poor are the sacrament of Christ.”

St Louis Marie prayed thus

These words of Louis Marie motivated his missionary dynamism and creativity...

We met Cristiana of the Sermig (Youth Missionary Service) at the Arsenal of peace in Turin, the headquarters of the organization. For more than 40 years, this international youth movement has been committed to overcome hunger through works of justice and development, to live solidarity towards the poorest and to be especially attentive to youth by seeking with them new ways towards peace in Turin, Italy, at the Arsenal of Hope in São Paulo, Brazil and at the Our Lady of Peace Centre in Jordan.
Peace is one of the fruits of Wisdom and to promote equal dignity for all human beings is to engage resolutely on the road to peace.  Together as brothers and sisters, we continue to let ourselves be renewed by the call of Wisdom to work with others towards peace and dignity for all.

“See I am doing a new thing, even now it comes to light; can you not see it?”
Isaiah 43:19

She constantly opens new roads…. Inviting us to audacity and creativity for our future meetings and for a common project with the youth that will be created in 2013...

Sisters Frédérique and Marie Laure, Daughters of Wisdom
