From One Feast to the Next 2012

Sister Louise Madore's letter,

Rome, April 4, 2012

Every year I am happy to send you « Between two Feasts » for the prayer of the « Triduums » leading to the feasts of Montfort and Marie-Louise. 

This year, we have chosen the theme of the General Chapter 2012, « Widen the space of your tent » (Is. 54: 2). The Sisters of the Philippines were entrusted with its preparation. We thank the Sisters who have prepared this privileged time of prayer that unites the entire Congregation around our founders. In a special way, we will hold their mission in our prayer.

At this time when the Congregation is preparing for the General Chapter, let us be inspired by this international prayer inviting us to appreciate the richness of an international Congregation. Each entity is then encouraged to contribute its own cultural color.

Also, I suggest that you welcome other persons or groups to this prayer, specially« the Friends of Wisdom ».  It is an opportunity to pass on a part of our spiritual heritage that may, of course, be adapted. In the spirit of Wisdom, this prayer can become moments of sharing and conviviality as Montfortian family.

As always, I encourage you, if possible, to organize an activity on behalf of the poor, thus following faithfully in the steps of Montfort and Marie-Louise.

With the other members of the Council, I assure you of my affection. I hope you will live a deep spiritual experience and a meaningful feast in honor of our founders.
