Love as a Great Paradigm
Magnificat
«Strong woman
Woman on the edge /…/
She is listening for a distant song
Even a single word
She is hoping to hear the very voice
Of God /…/
She still believes in beauty
And miracles and promises
She has faith in seeds /…/
She is longing to feel her feet on the ground
Her roots sinking deeply
Into the dark soft earth
She is looking for a revolution
She is aching for grace
She is seeking the very face
Of God /…/Strong woman
Woman on the edge
She didn’t know today was the day
To rewrite her story …»
Excerpt from the poem «Magnificat» inspired by
Elsie Gerber, written by Mary T. Malone
The preceding excerpt from the poem “MAGNIFICAT” inspired by contemporary mystic Elsie Gerber and written by Mary T. Malone effectively reflects humanity’s aspiration at a period when its future is threatened from all sides … the aspiration of a humanity that despite its erroneous choices is still called to an unbelievable accomplishment!
“She is aching for grace!” There is birth to come...

The Call of a New Paradigm*
Over the past fifty years, a new paradigm has been emerging. This new vision of the world emphasizes an interrelated universe. Modern physics declares that the human mind and body are not dissociated and distinct from their environment but instead form a force that constantly interacts with this vast sea of energy. In short, the universe is a network of interactions, the living web of a single tissue, a gigantic knot uniting all the elements. Referring to the universe, certain philosophers and spiritual writers speak of “the immense Being”! It is said that scientific progress is often achieved through renewed doubts about dogmas and principles that seem to be solidly established. Not surprisingly, this causes unease since there is nothing that humans fear more than change! Challenging a reductionist vision of the world that describes living beings as separated from each other, the emerging paradigm instead proposes a perspective of unity or unification. Concerning reductionism, the old paradigm culturally promotes patriarchy, imperialism, racism – exclusion and domination in every form, a mechanistic, dualistic vision of the world, from which a fragmented vision naturally ensues, a spirit that increases fear and markedly encourages an attitude of “every man for himself.”
We sense that humanity wishes more and more to move away from this restrictive and alienating vision toward a holistic, ecological vision of the world (we also hear a “systemic”* vision).

“All things are linked with one another, and this oneness is sacred.” Marcus Aurelius
