GENERAL CHAPTER OF THE DAUGHTERS OF WISDOM \u2013 2018<\/p>\n

An international, intergenerational committee was appointed to prepare the Chapter.<\/p>\n
It is composed of:<\/p>\n
Sr. Marie Turner of the Delegation of Great-Britain and Ireland
\nSr. Mercy Kanyumbu of the Delegation of Malawi
\nSr. Antonella del Cuore Immaculato of the Province of Italy
\nSr. Maribel Ladino of the Province of Colombia<\/p>\n
This committee worked with the General Council and the Facilitator, Sr. Br\u00edd Long ssl, in accordance with the objective of fostering broad and active participation of the entire Congregation. All of us are engaged in this movement which calls for an ever-greater availability for the mission.<\/p>\n
This preparation is supported by a prayer for the Chapter that is common for all the Congregation.<\/p>\n

O Eternal and Incarnate Wisdom,
\nWe entrust to you our next General Chapter
\nSend your Spirit of love on each of us
\nSo that an ardent flame spread beyond the borders.
\nMary, stay with us,
\nAt this time when God calls us to open our hearts
\nGive us the availability to cross barriers
\nTo bring down walls,
\nHelp us to broaden our heart
\nTo the dimensions of an intercultural world.<\/p>\n
Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort and Blessed Marie-Louise,
\nYou have taken a fresh look at the realities of your time,
\nGive us your boundless love
\nTo go beyond the borders of our security,
\nGive us your deep desire to communicate Wisdom.
\nAs free and faithful women, help us to look to the future,
\nTo the forward thrust you gave us: the absolute certainty
\nThat \u201cGod\u2019s tenderness unfolds upon humanity.\u201d (R.L. Annex p.3).<\/p>\n
