\"fillesThe Rural Vocational Training Center (CFRP) of Marotsiriry Mahanoro was founded in 1973 by the “Congregation of the Daughters of Wisdom” under the supervision of ECAR Marotsiriry, which is concerned with the education and training of vulnerable rural youth and single mothers aged 15 to 30 years from the Communes of the Districts of Mahanoro, where the Congregation began its mission in Madagascar The main vocation and mission of the Center is the “development of every man: physical and spiritual”.<\/p>\n

The center provides continuous training divided into two types and more precisely by cycles: a long cycle and a short cycle. The training offers are oriented towards the plant and animal sectors, crafts (carpentry), cutting and sewing as well as other sectors such as the transformation of local products.<\/p>\n

Major existing problems<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Before showing the different activities of the center, it is necessary to present the frequent problems that prevent the development of the population of this region where the Daughters of Wisdom PRTC is located. The targeted youth also know this problematic situation such as :<\/p>\n

The practice of traditional techniques: slash and burn agriculture<\/p>\n

Deforestation: charcoal burning, firewood for essential oils<\/p>\n

Socio-economic difficulties: low income of parents, schooling (dropping out of school due to financial difficulties) and many people are illiterate.<\/p>\n

Social exclusion: the disabled are not well received by society, especially in the area of training and work.<\/p>\n

Problems of land security that demotivate producers;<\/p>\n

The enclavement (bad state of the road) which blocks the circulation of products<\/p>\n

Different activities carried out for the Ecological System\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In order to face these different problems, more precisely, to reach the objective of the center which works a lot on the ecological field, different activities are carried out within the center. The photos below illustrate these activities. The learners in training, the various missions for the protection of the environment and the agricultural techniques.<\/p>\n
