To mark the Jubilee Year 2025, the Union of Religious Men and Women, in collaboration with the faithful of the Diocese of Antsirabe, organized a tree-planting day. This event took place on diocesan land located in Antsahatanteraka. Among the participants, three Daughters of Wisdom from the two communities of Antsirabe, Antsahamanambina, and Ambohimanamora actively contributed to this initiative.<\/p>\n

This reforestation effort was also organized to affirm the Church’s commitment to addressing the challenges of climate change. This ecological act brought together nearly 2,300 people, including young people, adults, priests, religious men and women from the diocese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Massive and Well-Prepared Mobilization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Before the tree-planting day, a large awareness campaign was conducted by the bishop of the diocese, Monsignor Pascal Andriantsoavina, priests, and members of the parish and diocesan office. This mobilization ensured record participation and encouraged the faithful to take part in this environmental action.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Throughout this day, more than 10,000 trees were planted, symbolizing a concrete gesture to preserve nature and combat deforestation. It was a moment of communion and sharing where everyone committed themselves to the good of our Common Home.<\/p>\n

A Sign of God’s Blessing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the end of this tree-planting day, a powerful sign crowned everyone’s efforts: rain fell, watering the freshly planted saplings. This was perceived as a true blessing from God, delighting participants who felt God’s encouragement in their action.<\/p>\n

Everyone left with the feeling of having made a strong gesture for the environment, proving that even a small collective act can have a significant impact on safeguarding our planet.<\/p>\n
