On Wednesday 10 June, the sisters of the Wisdom Year 2025–2026 brought their year of formation to a close at the Chapel of the Founders in Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre. The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Father Ronel Charelus, SMM, was enriched by hymns sung in various languages.
The participants in the Wisdom Year, together with their two responsibles, expressed their gratitude for this experience, marked by the richness of the formation they received and by the fraternal life shared with the sisters of the Motherhouse and the parishioners of St Laurent. Each one leaves with renewed enthusiasm to continue the mission in her home country.
This day was also filled with deep emotion, as it marked the end of the Wisdom Year which, according to Sr Rani Kurian, Superior General in her latest circular, “has formed and left its mark on generations of sisters over the past thirty-five years”. The sisters of the Mother House, just like those of the Province of France, will cherish precious memories of the presence of sisters who have come from all corners of the world over the years.
We wish each one a safe return to her home country and a fruitful mission, bringing joy and hope.
