The beginning of the month of May 2026 has been a season of abundant grace and blessings for the Province of Malawi. As a Province, we have truly experienced “grace upon grace” as the Lord continues to manifest His faithfulness through the life and mission of the Congregation.
On May 6, three Sisters-Veneranda Muro, Teresa Tebulo and Rose Emmanuel- joyfully renewed their Religious Vows. This sacred moment was not merely a ceremony, but a spiritual renewal and a refuelling for the missionary journey ahead. With hearts strengthened by grace, they continue to walk faithfully in the footsteps of Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort and Marie Louise of Jesus, embracing the call to serve God’s people with love, humility, and wisdom.

With deep gratitude to God, we see that Wisdom continues to widen Her tent as four Pre-novices were officially welcomed into the Novitiate on May 7. The new Novices are Susan Pensulo, Mary Mahala, Jacqueline Magalasi, and Audria Francisco. Their joyful response to God’s call is a beautiful testimony that the charism and legacy left behind by St. Montfort continue to inspire the youth and many hearts across generations.

Indeed, the world today is filled with noise, distractions, uncertainty, and woundedness. Yet, through the loving intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary-whom Montfort loved so dearly and entrusted himself to completely- new shoots continue to spring forth within the Church. God never ceases to call labourers into His vineyard. These new vocations are signs of hope and reminders that the Spirit of God is still actively at work among His people. We therefore continue to pray for even more vocations to flourish and blossom in the Church and within the Congregation of the Daughters of Wisdom.
As Christians and consecrated persons, we are all called to become witnesses of God’s greatness and instruments of His compassion to a wounded humanity. It is within this same spirit that, on May 9, two young women courageously committed themselves to the service of God and His people by professing Religious Vows in the Congregation of the Daughters of Wisdom. The newly professed Sisters are Annie Malizani and Joanna Dzonzi. With freedom, faith, and love, they offered their hearts and minds to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit and to live according to the guiding principles of the Congregation as expressed in the Rule of Life. Their “yes” to God is a living testimony that Christ still calls young people to holiness, service, and self-giving love. Jesus Christ, Eternal and Incarnate Wisdom, continually invites us to His banquet of love, where He nourishes and strengthens us to become authentic witnesses of truth, peace, and hope in the world.

The same Wisdom continues to call young women to deeper searching and discernment so that they may courageously respond to the mission of becoming “fishers of men.” Ours is a mission of hope: to reach out to souls burdened by despair and fill them with renewed courage; to comfort hearts wounded by the injustices and sufferings of the world with the joy that comes from Christ Jesus; and to enlighten minds consumed by earthly anxieties with the life-giving Word of God that alone satisfies every human longing.
God is love, and He calls us to love one another sincerely and selflessly. He remains our provider, our strength, and our sustenance. In Him, we shall never lack, for His Divine Providence never fails those who trust in Him. As daughters and followers in the spirituality of Montfort, we continue moving forward with confidence and faith, proclaiming his timeless motto: “God Alone!” For indeed, God alone is enough, and in His Divine Wisdom, He provides all that is needed for the mission.
