From September 1 to 15, 2025, the treasurers of the Daughters of Wisdom are gathered in Saint Laurent-sur-Sèvre, for an international session on the theme: “With Marie-Louise, Treasurers, women of hope for the future.” Welcomed at the Sagesse Spiritual Center, the participants, filled with great hope, show enthusiasm that is evident on their faces as soon as they arrived at this place so dear to the Daughters of Wisdom. All the Entities are represented, with the exception of the Province of Haiti.
The session is led by Sr. Ruth Dary Palacio Parra, General Treasurer, assisted by Sr. Anne-Marie Beaudoin and Sr. Jean Enad. The Superior General, Sr. Rani Kurian, is also present, showing the importance of this session in the life of the Congregation.
This session was eagerly awaited, as the last treasurers’ meeting was in 2016. It is also well timed for this Jubilee Year, when we are all called to be women of hope, wherever we are. Following the example of Marie-Louise, the Congregation’s first treasurer, our treasurers aim to “chart new and harmonious paths in our world in crisis where each Daughter of Wisdom dares to hope.” (Calls of Wisdom No. 8 – Acts of the General Chapter 2024).
