TESTIMONY OF SR. STELIA VICTOR : THE SACRED ENCOUNTER

The route sparingly traveled – To God be the Glory

As I look on my journey of religious formation, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s unwavering care, blessings, and mercy.

« I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so, the Father will give you whatever you ask of Him in my name. This then, is what I command you: love one another. » John 15, 16-17

From the earliest days of discernment to the moment of making perpetual profession of vows, God’s presence has been palpable, guiding me every step of the way. The motto, “Remain in Me” (John 15:4) has been a constant reminder of God’s desire for intimacy with us. Through His grace, I have been shaped and molded into the person I am today. God’s goodness has been sufficient, and his guidance has been my strength. I acknowledge the role of many stakeholders who have supported me on this journey – mentors, family, friends, and community members. Your love, prayers, and encouragement have been instrumental in my growth.

To young individuals considering religious life, I offer a message of encouragement: trust in God’s plan for you. His love and mercy are boundless, and His guidance is always available. As the Good Shepherd, God watches over His flock with tender care. As I continue on this path, I humbly ask for God’s grace to remain faithful to my commitment. May His love and mercy continue to guide me, and may I be a beacon of hope and faith to others.

As members of religious communities, we are called to embody love and unity, reflecting God’s kindness to all humanity. May our hearts be filled with forgiveness and our attitudes be marked by reconciliation, just as God has shown us mercy and compassion.

In God We Trust

Let us strive to imitate God’s example of love and kindness, embracing every individual with empathy and understanding. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Wisdom, may we remain focused on heavenly things, prioritizing what truly matters in our journey of faith. Let us pray for the grace to live out our vocations with fidelity and compassion, always seeking to reflect God’s boundless love.

Amen.
